We will open the book.
Its pages are blank.
We are going to put words on them ourselves.
The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.

Our thoughts, our concern & our prayers are with Bob Robbins.
He had a heart attack earlier this month and was in the hospital in Russell.
He is at home now. They have to have someone there all the time to help with his care.
He loves to have company and he is very happy that he can be at home.
We pray for strength for both, Bob & Eulah.
God Bless them and their family.

♪♫•*¨*•*¨*•♫♪ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mollie ♪♫•*¨*•*¨*•♫♪

Yesterday was Mollie's birthday. I know because she is on facebook.
However, I'm slow. Hope you had a great day, Mollie!

I have always been very Thankful for God’s Miracle at the time of my liver transplant, but I had never stopped to think about a second chance another time. However, I can not say that it is a coincidence or that I am really lucky that I am here today . . or that I just merely escaped a life threatening situation or “beating the odds.”. I truly believe I am here because of divine intervention.

I spent a few days in the hospital (Fri through Wed). I had a blood clot on my leg and a cat scan showed that smaller blood clots were around my lungs.

I have a lot of feet and leg swellings and everyday seems like something new. I didn't realize the danger of the swelling this time. I came home yesterday and I am doing fine.

One of my facebook friends posted a comment and ended it with this . . .
"Asking God to impress you in the future when it is dangerous."

I had to laugh but I guess that is certainly the kind of prayers I need.

If I know when your birthday is, I love to post a Happy Birthday to you!
If you are on facebook, that helps me to know.

However, I missed Dorene's birthday.

Happy Belated Birthday, Dorene.
Dorene's birthday was Dec. 7th.

When those we love have left this earth, we still can feel them near.
We'll see a picture, hear a song, and it’s just like they are here.
And when we call upon our faith, when we believe and trust,
we know the ones we care about are always close to us.
