What is the story behind this photo?
This is a picture that was in our trunk that had nothing written on the back (like a lot of other pictures).
Does anyone have a picture similar to this that is labeled?

In Feb. we emailed Dan and Jim
and asked if this link was the Eulert Ranch.
Dan replied . . . . . . "Yes that is it. Our farm borders it on the southeast."
Jim replied . . . . . . "It looks like it. I know it was sold when dad was ill. It was around 4,000 acres. The house looks like the one Ott and Elsie lived in. The picture would be taken from the North to North east. Almost like you were coming down the road. The guy that bought it was from Hill City, Stockton or somewhere in that direction. If you read through it, it talks about more acreage in Trego county."
Hazel Dodson Harrell, John Morrill, unknown,
Arthur Chesney and Marie Rich.
Seated - from left to right
unknown and Floyd Houser.
Marie (Post - Elliott) Quenzer found the annual.
One unknown is Luther Nelson and the other is
Joseph Marlow. Anyone know which is which?
Millard thought the left man on the front row is Alfred Thompson.
Can anyone help us out?
We still have the picture and all of the names are on the back. However . . . we can't remember the safe place that we put the picture.
The one on the front right hand side is John Harrell. On John's right is Joe Kvasnick and on Joe's right is Ewing Hutchcraft.
Norman Hutchcraft is in the second row, second from the left.
I received an email from Norma Hutchcraft Williams, June 26th. I really appreciate the email's I receive from each of you. That is the only way I know that you have seen this blog. Thank You Norma.

ISN'T THE VIEW IN THIS PHOTO WONDERFUL?
The High School, the old Methodist Church,
the Water Tower and Guess Who?
I wonder how long it will take Dan Hoisington to see this picture. I like to remind him to view this blog every once in a while . . . . but I'm testing him this time.
Anyway . . . .
Pat Hoopes Preston sent this.
From left to right - on the ground.
Pat Hoopes, Wanda Strecker, Alice Pfortmiller and Danny Hoisington on the top.

Thanks to her, we now have the names.
"The middle one is Pat Hoopes to the left is Alice Pfortmiller and to the right is Sandra Marqotte. Thats from horse's mouth.. Pat"
(We should have recognized Alice. She is Millard's cousin. I didn't know her at that age.
I have a picture of her and her family. Will try to post it soon.)
Pat said . . .

The Hoopes Family
All of them attended Paradise Schools and were active in all activities
So many wonderful memories from Pat.
"This is a picture from the farm house out on the road to Pfortmillers. We use to sell milk and raise milk cows and have a team of horses called Bill and Tony. They plowed and helped a lot on the farm. Those were the good old days. Pat

Pat wrote out some good memories in her Comments under Van and Millard's cowboy picture.
I decided to post them here, in case some of you are not clicking on Comments.
"The one on the left was a lot more in trouble then the one on the right. Millard wasn't a person that was in trouble. Van was another story....? Of course I was an angel ha ha.
I didn't know they had fixed up the Brown house that nice its really pretty. Elaine and I was good buds and had lots of fun.
Dan Hoisington responded in a comment under Dean Brown's Home . . . . . .
"My Nephew had the porch rebuilt and refinished the interior. Also added a finished attic with 2 bedrooms. He still needs to do the kitchen which is being worked on now."
Pat responded in a comment below
My Brother Delphan was born in that house. Did you know the Hoopes family lived there at one time, but that was when Mom and Dad had only one child. Eight of us came later.. Brown House .. Pat
Pat also commented under the Dean Brown Home
Don't know whether you all got this message but My older Brother Delphan Hoopes was born in that Brown house as it stands. Who would of thunk a Hoopes born in a Brown house. Did you know the Hoopes lived there at one time???? Delphan is 10 years older then me and he is like a second dad to me.Pat
