ALAN KENT COOPER
Alan Kent Cooper, 67, of Moore, OK passed away May 3, 2015. He was born January 20, 1948 to Milton and June Cooper in Concordia, KS.
Alan was employed by the United Postal Service and retired after 30 years of service. Alan was a strong family man, republican and loved the Lord. Alan was a train enthusiast and a “Mr. Fix-It”. He also enjoyed wood working.
Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay Cooper;
2 daughters, Janet Morgan and Marie Woods and husband, Jeff;
grandchildren, David, Paul, Brendan, Brody, and Isaac;
grandchildren, David, Paul, Brendan, Brody, and Isaac;
sister, Nancy Barlow;
2 brothers, Steven Cooper and wife, Sharon and Richard Cooper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and June Cooper; mother-in-law, Frances Kvasnicka; and father-in-law, Joe Kvasnicka.
Funeral services
will be held at
10:00 AM, Thursday, May 7, 2015
at the
First United Methodist Church of Moore, Moore, Oklahoma.
Interment to follow at Moore Cemetery, Moore, OK.
Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home.
