Karen Hudnall Iva Laughlin
The class of 1960 had their 50th Year Celebration in 2010 at the Paradise Alumni Reunion.
Four members of this class spent many hours, phone calls and emails planning for this Celebration. Donnie Miller, Sharon Leiker, Karen Jakub & Iva Byrd certainly planned a very nice and impressive celebration for their class. Two of these four do not have their picture in the Class Photos hanging in the gym.
Iva Byrd moved away when she was a sophomore and Karen Jakub could not graduate with the class because she was pregnant. Times have changed! She was pregnant and she was not allowed to graduate with her class but her husband was in school, participated in activities and graduated. Karen received her high school degree at the same time by taking classes through correspondence but she could not have it presented to her at graduation.
